The Catholic Conference of Illinois helped to pass legislation allowing teachers to re-instate expired teacher certificates if they missed last year’s deadline. Senate Bill 3393 gives teachers until Sept. 1 to pay registration and any back fees for immediate re-instatement of a lapsed certificate.
