The Catholic Conference of Illinois today sent a letter to State Superintendent Chris Koch, requesting that Catholic and other private schools be included in the state's waiver request to the U.S. Department of Education.
CCI Director of Government Relations Zach Wichmann asked that any Title IA funds resulting from a waiver from requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act be considered for private school students.
