The first edition of the 2023 Catholic Conference of Illinois Radio Hour is now uploaded and available for listening. This month’s show features a pair of guests with host Bob Gilligan.
The show’s initial guest is Marilou Gervacio, the Director of Social Services/Social Justice for the Catholic Conference of Illinois. She joined Bob for a pair of segments. The first one featuring a discussion on the Restorative Justice statement the organization will be putting out in February. Her second segment is about a series of trainings that are focused on speaking to lawmakers on the issue of assisted suicide that the CCI has hosted over the last week in January.
The second and final guest is Karen Potter, the Co-Host of The Covenant Eyes Podcast. Each week Karen and co-host, Brandon Clark, interview world-class guests who provide practical, relevant, and biblical perspectives on topics that matter to the audience and church leaders. Karen discussed the podcast, how they come up with topics, guests, and how interested individuals can find their content.
