The Catholic Conference Radio Hour March edition is now available for listening.

This month’s show kicks off with Molly Malone Rumley, the Assistant Legislative Chairman of Illinois Right to Life, who was on to talk about two identical bills – Senate Bill 1909 and House Bill 2463 – that, if passed, will have a devastating impact on the ability of pregnancy help centers to operate in accordance with their mission to help pregnant women in need.

The second guest is the Chief Financial Officer at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, LeNette Van Haverbeke, who came on to discuss the Natural Organic Reduction Regulation Act 3158 which would make the human composting process for final disposition of human remains legal.

Finally Bobby Sylvester the Director of School & Community Partnerships, Empower Illinois and Dr. Noreen Dillion the Principal, St. Mark School, Peoria provided an update the Invest in Kids Act (Tax Credit Scholarship), as well as the potential sunsetting of the program.
