The Catholic Conference of Illinois Radio Hour October edition is now available. This month’s show features a pair of guests.
The show opens with Chris Vallace and Father Wayne Watts talking about the Tax Credit Scholarship. Chris and his wife are leading the campaign at St. Joseph and St. Francis Xavier, and they are longtime supporters of the tax-credit scholarship program. Vallace said that donors from the parish had already covered the needs for tax-credit scholarships in their community, so they looked to St. Thomas of Canterbury as another location to help with scholarships in Chicago.
The second guest is Sarah Michalak, the Programs Manager, Students for Life of America. The pair discuss the Illinois Reproductive Health Act touch base on the Students for Life of America mission.
